Adirondack Gliders

  A variation of the Classic Adirondack chair, the gliders combine the classic shapes and perfect proportion of the chair with a gentle fore and aft gliding action.  The seat height is slightly higher (about 1") than the standard chair, but the back is still curved and comfortable, and the angle between the back and the seat is maintained.  All other essential specs are the same as for the chair.  The glide arms have sealed bearing for quiet, smooth operation and are galavanized for corrosion resistance.

Glider dimension are:

• 45 inches tall (to the top of the center back slat)

• 31 inches wide (at the widest part of the arms); seat is 22 inches wide

• 29 inches deep  (front to back of base), 32 inches overall

Options for finish are:

• natural finish - fully sanded without any sealers or coatings

• exterior oil-based stain - 2-3 coats of a penetrating oil-based sealer

• We're not currently offering a painted finish.  We provide pieces in natural finish ready for you to apply paint.
